| In
place of the existing Hardturm Stadium of the Grasshopper Club Zurich (GCZ),
the coming years will see the emergence of the Zurich stadium. The
building authorities decided in May 2001 to construct a multifunctional
football stadium on the Hardturm site. It should contain 30,000 covered
seats and also offices, retail space, restaurants and a hotel complex. |
