| In
place of the old "Joggeli", the last three years have seen the
emergence of the first multifunctional stadium in Switzerland - the
St.-Jakob Park. On 15 March 2001, FC Basle played its first match in the
brand new stadium in front of 33,433 spectators. The stadium has an
ultra-modern infrastructure (including solar installation on the roof of
the stand), which meets all the needs of players, spectators and media
representatives. |
